I've wanted a scarf like this for awhile now.
I'm allergic to wool, so I had to think of something else .
The first version I tried was made out of cotton; it looked the way I liked, but was too heavy to actually use.
So, this one is made of acrylic. It's light and soft.

ReplyDeleteI don't knit much myself, and found this an easy project.
All you need to know is how to cast, and after that the scarf is just *knit 1, purl 1* all the way, no fancy stitches required.
So, I think it would work really well for a beginner!
